Kindess One Horse At A Time

Today I learned something about Oregon I never knew; we have an amazing horse sanctuary in our state. I wanted to find a video on YouTube about our wild horses. The feeling to run free has set in something fierce with the past two months of crazy weather leading to a case of Stockholm snow syndrome.

Instead my YouTube travels came across this beautiful place. I am in love with the Duchess Sanctuary and its mission. Check out their story and pass it along.

For women considering hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to deal with menopause, read about the Pregnant Mare Urine (PMU) industry and what is done to female horses to make those drugs. Just say no to HRT – it hurts horses

New motto: FIash to save horses. My hot flashes never felt so good. Have a Happy Quirky Friday and hug a horse today!

Here is the website: http://www.fundforanimals.org/duchess-sanctuary/

Agree with the Premarin HRT. Thankfully there’s a plant-based version.
    Yay for the horse sanctuary!

I would be happy to eat greens from the field, just like the horsies. They are so pretty!
